It's the little things

Yesterday the kids and I were at Smith's heading for the checkout. This was the second store of our outing and the kids had already had enough of me telling them we were almost done. Usually they're pretty good at the store but they were just getting on eachother's nerves. We get to the front to find that there is only one checkout open with four people in line. I didn't have the patience to stand there and wait, so we headed for the self checkout. My face must have shown exactly how I was feeling because an employee was walking past me and he said "come with me". He went over and opened a new checkout and I almost cried. Normally I would tell the people in the front of the other line to go ahead of me and they probably looked at me like "who the heck does she think she is" but I was so shocked I didn't care. I'm so grateful for people that make my life a little easier when I'm making it too hard.

Smith's is seriously the best grocery store in NLV, and yes, its so awesome when people do something little yet hugely kind to a hard working mom. I'm learning how to do outings with just me and the kids, its tough! I learn from you:)

Yeah! Sometimes I bribe Audrey with a doughnut (Albertson's) or popcorn (Target) when I get desperate. I've been meaning to tell you how cute your family photos look.
